Mohamed A. El-Erian is the President of Queens’ College, the University of Cambridge. Since 2014, he has served as Chief Economic Advisor at Allianz, the corporate parent of PIMCO where he formerly served as chief executive and co-chief investment officer. In 2018, he was just appointed to the IMF’s External Advisory Group on Surveillance and MIT’s Visiting Committee for the Department of Economics. Congressman Tom Emmer joined the U.S. House of Representatives on January 6, 2015 and currently represents (MN-06). Tom was recently elected by his fellow Republican colleagues to serve as Majority Whip entering the 118th Congress. Prior to that he served as Chairman of the NRCC during the 116th Congress and 117th Congress. House Republicans picked up seats in back-to-back cycles and reclaimed the House majority for just the third time since 1954. Tom also sits on the House Financial Services Committee and is a member of the House Republican Steering Committee. Born in 1961, Tom grew up in Minnesota and attended St. Thomas Academy. He received his BA in Political Science from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and his JD from William Mitchell College of Law. After practicing law for several years, he opened his own law firm. The next 20 years were spent balancing family, business, coaching hockey, and serving on the city councils in Independence and Delano. La Morte is currently Chief of the Illicit Finance &amp; Money Laundering Unit in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York (SDNY), as well as an Asset Forfeiture Coordinator.  She previously served as a line assistant in that unit.  In those roles, Tara has supervised and conducted numerous investigations and prosecutions relating to international money laundering, fraud, sanctions, and corruption, including matters under the Bank Secrecy Act, International Economic Emergency Powers Act, and Title 18 offenses.  She has experience handling cross-border matters and coordinating with U.S. and foreign regulators on transnational financial matters.  In addition, she has substantial experience in both criminal and civil forfeiture matters.  Prior to serving in the SDNY’s Criminal Division, Tara served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the SDNY’s Civil Division and as a Trial Attorney in the Federal Programs Branch of the Department of Justice.  In both positions she worked on a number of complex affirmative and defense cases, including class actions, bankruptcy, program litigation, and fraud matters.

Ben founded ParaFi in 2018 as one of the earliest investment firms focused on the blockchain and digital asset ecosystem. Rich Widmann is the Global Head of Strategy for Web3 at Google Cloud and a founding member of Google’s Web3 business. Ray Hindi is the co-founded L1D and currently acts as the CEO/CIO. Ray has an investment background in venture, hedge funds and interest rate trading. Sébastien Derivaux

Keerthi Moudgal is Head of Product for Kinexys Digital Assets, J.P. Morgan’s premier blockchain platform for tokenized assets and digital asset exchange. Keerthi was instrumental in launching this platform in 2020, alongside its initial use case for intraday financing. Her primary focus now centers on scaling ODA by building up its asset and participant ecosystem and introducing new functionality. Lekker Capital is a global macro hedge fund with a particular focus on the emerging digital asset industry. Robert Leshner is the CEO and Co-founder of Superstate, an asset management firm modernizing investing through tokenized financial products. Matt Homer is the General Partner of The Department of XYZ. He also serves as a board member at Gemini Trust Company and Standard Custody &amp; Trust. Prior to launching The Department of XYZ, Matt led blockchain investments at Nyca Partners. A two-time former regulator, Matt most notably served as the primary regulator for many leading digital asset firms in the United States. In addition to his professional endeavors, Yorke imparts his knowledge as an educator at NYU SPS, teaching courses in DPB (Ecommerce) and the Center for Global Affairs (Applying Emerging Technologies in Ethical Sourcing). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from NYU's Courant Institute of Mathematics.

Biser Dimitrov leads the Citi-wide DLT Center of Excellence and Digital Assets Technology in Citi. The COE is an organization with responsibilities to develop best practices and help set standards and policies for DLT. The Digital Asset technology group is responsible for the enablement and implementation of all business use cases that involve blockchain and digital assets across all Citi's business lines from payments to asset servicing and custody.
