Vishal Gupta is the Co-Founder and CEO of True Markets, a stablecoin-native DeFi trading mobile app available on Apple’s App Store. True Markets is dedicated to offering markets and liquidity as a service globally through reliable, innovative trading technology.

Vishal was previously the Head of Exchange at Coinbase, leading the largest US-based exchange. He also oversaw the launch of Coinbase's International Exchange and Coinbase’s U.S.-regulated derivatives business. Under his leadership, Coinbase doubled market share in US-enabled markets, expanded asset offerings tenfold and opened markets for new asset classes internationally.

Before joining Coinbase, Vishal served as Head of $USDC at Circle, where he oversaw the launch and exponential growth of $USDC, the largest U.S.-domiciled stablecoin. Prior to that, he served as the Head of Execution at Volant Execution and Head of US-listed options at Goldman Sachs, adding up to more than 20 years of experience leading markets.
